Research Catalog
The Polytechnic University of Bari collects the research outputs of its community (articles, monographs, conference proceedings, patents, etc.) in the institutional repository, also called the RESEARCH CATALOG, managed through the IRIS platform (Institutional Research Information System) developed by CINECA.
This is an open access archive that collects, preserves, and provides access to information relating to the research outputs of the University's researchers and, in accordance with publishers' copyright policies, also to the full texts, where permitted. It therefore represents a true showcase of the University's scientific production.
In addition, it is also used for research evaluation campaigns promoted both by internal bodies of the Polytechnic and by external institutions, such as ANVUR, for national evaluations (VQR).
The products included in the catalog can also be searched through the discovery tool PoLib-search which queries the archive by extracting the metadata and any full texts contained in it. In addition, the catalog is indexed by Google Scholar at the level of individual products, and this contributes to their visibility.
