Can I do an internship through the Placement Office if I am still a student?
No, the Placement Office manages exclusively extracurricular internships (post-graduation). For curricular internships (during studies), you should contact the internship coordinators of your Department.
How are the 3 CFU of the Soft Skill Academy recognized?
After passing the final test, the Placement Office sends the list of eligible candidates to the student administration offices for recording in the academic record (subject to approval of the Study Plan).
Is the CV review service paid?
No, all Career Service services are free of charge for students and graduates of the Polytechnic University of Bari.

Frequently asked questions about curricular internships
Can I start the curricular internship if I do not yet have the general safety certificate?
No. Without submitting the certificate, it is not possible to proceed with the formal activation of the internship.
Who must pay the stamp duty for new agreements?
The host company must affix a €16.00 stamp duty on the standard agreement form.
What should I do if I want to extend the internship period?
Your tutor must send a request for extension to the Internship Office at least 10 days before the original deadline.
How long does it take to receive the certificate for the health and safety at work course?
Once you pass the online test, the certificate is issued within 1 working day.
What are the activation times for an agreement?
At least 10 days from the submission of the documentation
