Data subject rights

The data subject may exercise, in the cases provided for by applicable law, the rights recognized by Articles 15 et seq. of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, including:

• right of access to personal data;
• right to rectification of inaccurate data or updating of incomplete data;
• right to erasure of data, in the cases provided for by law;
• right to restriction of processing;
• right to object to processing, in the cases provided for;
• right to data portability, where applicable;
• right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority.

How to exercise rights

Requests relating to the exercise of rights in the field of personal data protection may be submitted to the Polytechnic University of Bari, as Data Controller, or to the Data Protection Officer.

The request must be formulated clearly, indicating the elements useful to identify the processing activity or service to which the request refers.

The possibility of lodging a complaint with the Data Protection Authority remains unaffected, in accordance with the procedures provided for by applicable law, should the data subject consider that the processing of personal data is carried out in violation of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
