Pre-evaluation phase

In order to know if your foreign qualifications meet the requirements of the course you want to apply for, you are required to provide us the following documents:

*All the documents must be translated into Italian language (for Italian-taught Courses) or into English language (for English-taught Courses). During the pre-evaluation phase the legalized translation is not required.

 

 

How to submit your pre-evaluation request

If you need the Study VISA for Italy, please carefully read and follow number 1.

  1. if you need a Study VISA for Italy (e.g. non-EU students living abroad) you must follow the Procedures issued by the Italian Ministry for Universities and Research for Entry, Residency and Enrolment at Higher Education Institutions for Students Requiring VISAS for higher Education Courses in Italy (https://www.studiare-in-italia.it/studentistranieri/moduli/2020/Circolare_2020_2021_EN.pdf) by submitting your pre-enrolment request through Universitaly Platform (www.universitaly.it).

Deadline for the pre-enrolment procedure for the academic year 2020/21 is set on 30.11.2020.

PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THE ABOVEMENTIONED PROCEDURES.

If you don’t need the Study VISA for Italy, please carefully read and follow number 2.

  1. If you don’t need a Study Visa for Italy (e.g. EU/Norway/Iceland/Liechtenstein/Swiss/Republic of San Marino/Holy See citizens; foreign citizens already officially residing in Italy; students who hold scholarships released by European Union education, training, and research programmes; citizens with refugee/asylum/subsidiary protection status) à you must send the required documents by e-mail to our Foreign Qualifications Office (foreign-qualifications@poliba.it) with object “Pre-Evaluation Request for DEGREE COURSE NAME – SURNAME AND NAME”.

 

YOU CAN CHECK TO WHICH TYPOLOGY OF CANDIDATE YOU BELONG TO WITHIN THE PROCEDURES FOR STUDENTS REQUIRING VISAS ISSUED BY THE ITALIAN MINISTRY FOR UNIVERSITIES AND RESEARCH (https://www.studiare-in-italia.it/studentistranieri/moduli/2020/Circolare_2020_2021_EN.pdf )  - part 1; paragraphs 2,3 (pages 3-4).

 

IMPORTANT:

  • for all our Second Cycle Master Degree Programmes (2-year- courses) the pre-evaluation request constitutes the admission procedure. In this case the pre-evaluation request must be submitted through Esse3 Platform;

  • for all our Bachelor Degree Programmes and our Single Cycle Master Degree Programme in Architecture (5-year course) the pre-evaluation request does not replace the admission procedures.

How to enrol

You can enrol only if the previous steps have a positive outcome

The enrolment must be carried out through our Esse3 platform (PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THE ADMISSION PROCEDURE OF THE DEGREE PROGRAMME YOU WANT TO APPLY FOR IN ORDER TO KNOW HOW TO REGISTER AND HOW TO ENROL ON ESSE3 PLATFORM).

*Should the non-EU student not in possession of the required residency permit during the phase of enrolment, the enrolment is conditionally accepted until the month of June following the request.

STEP 2 - pre-evaluation phase: carefully read the admission procedures of the Degree Programme you want to apply for (http://www.poliba.it/it/didattica/test-di-ammissione).  EACH KIND OF DEGREE PROGRAMME HAS GOT ITS SPECIFIC ADMISSION PROCEDURES.

 

STEP 3 - enrolment phase: carefully read the admission procedures of the Degree Programme you want to apply for (http://www.poliba.it/it/didattica/test-di-ammissione). The enrolment is possible only if the admission phase gets a positive outcome.
