In order to know if your foreign qualifications meet the requirements of the course you want to apply for, you are required to provide us the following documents:

*All the documents must be translated into Italian language (for Italian-taught Courses) or into English language (for English-taught Courses). During the evaluation phase the legalized translation is not required.

Please note! If you choose a Course TAUGHT IN ITALIAN LANGUAGE, you need to know Italian language (B2 Italian language proficiency is required). If You haven’t a valid Italian language B2 certificate you must overcome our Italian language test.

How to submit your evaluation request

If you need the Study VISA for Italy, please carefully read and follow number 1.

1.If you need a Study VISA for Italy (e.g. non-EU students living abroad) you must follow the Procedures issued by the Italian Ministry for Universities and Research for Entry, Residency and Enrolment at Higher Education Institutions for Students Requiring VISAS for higher Education Courses in Italy (LINK) by submitting your pre-enrolment request through Universitaly Platform (www.universitaly.it).

PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THE ABOVEMENTIONED PROCEDURES.

 If you don’t need the Study VISA for Italy, please carefully read and follow number 2.

2. If you don’t need a Study Visa for Italy (e.g. EU/Norway/Iceland/Liechtenstein/Swiss/Republic of San Marino/Holy See citizens; foreign citizens already officially residing in Italy; students who hold scholarships released by European Union education, training, and research programmes; citizens with refugee/asylum/subsidiary protection status) you must go through the dedicated admission procedure (check our Admission page).

YOU CAN CHECK TO WHICH TYPOLOGY OF CANDIDATE YOU BELONG TO WITHIN THE PROCEDURES FOR STUDENTS REQUIRING VISAS ISSUED BY THE ITALIAN MINISTRY FOR UNIVERSITIES AND RESEARCH (LINK) - part 1; paragraphs 2,3 (page 4-5-6).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • For all our Second Cycle Master Degree Programmes (2-year courses) the evaluation request constitutes the admission procedure. In this case the evaluation request must be submitted through Esse3 Platform (ATTENTION: admission procedures on ESSE3 for the academic year 2023/2024 will start within July 2023).
  • For all our Bachelor Degree Programmes and our Single Cycle Master Degree Programme in Architecture (5-year course) the pre-evaluation request does not replace the admission procedures. Non-EU candidates must apply both through Universitaly and the dedicated admission procedure published by Politecnico di Bari (https://www.poliba.it/it/didattica/ammissioni).
  • Even if some admission procedures have not been published yet (e.g.: admission to Master's Degrees, Single Cycle in Architeture or Bachelor Degree in Disegno Industriale), non-EU candidates can already apply within Universitaly Platform. As soon as Politecnico di Bari publishes the adequate admission procedure, they will be asked to apply on Politecnico di Bari Student Platform (Esse3) as well.
  • For the Bachelor Degree Programmes in Engineering or in Disegno Industriale, as well as for Single Cycle Master Degree Programmes in Architecture and for Master degree Programmes taught in italian language, you need to know Italian language (B2 Italian language proficiency is required). If you don’t have B2 Italian Certificate, you will have to pass the Italian language test.

How to enrol

You can enrol only if the previous steps have a positive outcome.

The enrolment must be carried out through our Esse3 platform (PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THE ADMISSION PROCEDURE OF THE DEGREE PROGRAMME YOU WANT TO APPLY FOR IN ORDER TO KNOW HOW TO REGISTER AND HOW TO ENROL ON ESSE3 PLATFORM).

STEP 2 - evaluation phase: carefully read the admission procedures of the Degree Programme you want to apply for (https://www.poliba.it/it/didattica/ammissioni).  EACH KIND OF DEGREE PROGRAMME HAS GOT ITS SPECIFIC ADMISSION PROCEDURES.

STEP 3 - enrolment phase: carefully read the admission procedures of the Degree Programme you want to apply for (https://www.poliba.it/it/didattica/ammissioni). The enrolment is possible only if the admission phase gets a positive outcome.
