Available places for Bachelor Degree Courses in Engineering

ATTENTION: ALL OUR BACHELOR DEGREE COURSES ARE TAUGHT IN ITALIAN LANGUAGE.

Total available places of the Bachelor Degree Courses indicates the maximum number of students who can enrol in that particular course of study. This number takes account of the different students categories:

Category 1: Candidates residing in Italy (EU candidates and non-EU candidates), or all EU citizens and non-EU citizens officially residing in Italy; citizens with refugee/asylum/subsidiary protection status;
Category 2: Total Available places for non-EU candidates living abroad and in need a study visa for Italy; Total Available places for students within “Marco Polo” project.

For all kind of information regarding the admission procedure for the Bachelor Degree Courses in Engineering (A.Y. 2023/2024) you must carefully read our "Bando di Concorso" (Competition notice) (DR 40 of 17.01.2023) (link to the Regulations).

ATTENTION: if you are a non-EU candidate needing a STUDY VISA, you cannot join the Early Admission Test. You must apply for the Standard Admission Test
If you need a Study VISA for Italy (e.g. non-EU students living abroad) you must follow the Procedures issued by the Italian Ministry for Universities and Research for Entry, Residency and Enrolment at Higher Education Institutions for Students Requiring VISAS for higher Education Courses in Italy (https://www.studiare-in-italia.it/studentistranieri/) by submitting your pre-enrolment request through Universitaly Platform (www.universitaly.it). Please note! If you choose a Course TAUGHT IN ITALIAN LANGUAGE, you need to know Italian language (B2 Italian language proficiency is required). If You haven’t a valid Italian language B2 certificate you must overcome our Italian language test.

Please note: Those who are enrolled in the fourth year of high school and who will pass the test will have to register for the competition on Poliba Esse3 and subsequent enrolment in the A.Y. 2024/2025.
Indications for registration and enrolment will be published in February 2024.

Dates of completion of the tests: All TOLC-I tests taken at any University are valid by November 9, 2023
Dates of completion of the tests managed by the Politecnico di Bari: 09 November 2023 exclusively in TOLC@CASA mode
Registration dates on the CISIA portal for the test provided by the Politecnico di Bari on November 9, 2023: subject to availability and in any case by 14.00 (GMT+2) on 03.11.2023
Registration dates for the Competition on the Esse3 Portal of the Politecnico di Bari: from October 12, 2023 to November 02, 2023 at 14:00 (GMT+2).
PLEASE NOTE: Those who intend to enroll in the P-Tech course, delivered exclusively in Taranto, must use from their personal page ESSE3 the Admission Test called TARANTO PERCORSO P-TECH LT17 COMPUTER ENGINEERING AND AUTOMATION (Extraordinary Session) - Those who intend to enroll in the Degree Course in Industrial Engineering of Naval Systems, delivered exclusively in Taranto, must use from their personal page ESSE3 the Admission Test called INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING AND NAVAL SYSTEMS (Extraordinary Session) - All other candidates for a Bachelor's Degree Course in Engineering must use the Admission Test that shows the Name “Second EXTRAORDINARY SESSION”
PLEASE NOTE: Registration for the competition on the ESSE3 portal of the Politecnico di Bari is essential as it is aimed at the choice of the Degree Course and the consequent possibility of being included in the Ranking. Registration on the esse3 portal does NOT provide for the possibility of choosing the date of the test, which must be selected exclusively by the CISIA portal and is not reported on the ESSE3 portal.
Registration dates for winners placed in a useful position in the ranking: from 15.11.2023 UNTIL 12.00 (GMT+2) on 22.11.2023.
Registration Dates for any eligible non-winning candidates: by 15.11.2023 a special DR will be published that will contain the indications for the possible registration of the eligible non-winners

Registration deadlines to Standard Admission Test on the CISIA portal until the max number of available places:
- From 30.05.2023 to 30.08.2023 (until 2:00 p.m.) for the tests on 05.09.2023 and 24.02.2023;
- From 30.05.2023 to 31.08.2023 (until 2:00 p.m.) for the test on 06.09.2023
Registration deadlines to the competition (“Concorso”) on the Politecnico di Bari Esse3 portal: from 04.08.2023 to 29.08.2023 (until 2:00 p.m.)
Please note: Only those who intend to enroll in the P-Tech course, delivered exclusively in Taranto, will have to use from their personal ESSE3 page the Admission Test called TARANTO PERCORSO P-TECH LT17 COMPUTER AND AUTOMATION ENGINEERING (Standard Session) (TARANTO PERCORSO P-TECH LT17 INGEGNERIA INFORMATICA E DELL’AUTOMAZIONE (Sessione Standard))– All other candidates for a Bachelor of Engineering Degree will have to use the Admission Test called “STANDARD SESSION” (SESSIONE STANDARD)
Please note: Registration to the competition (“Concorso”) on the Politecnico di Bari Esse3 portal is necessary in order to choose the Course of study and consequent possibility of being included in the Ranking (Graduatoria). Registration to the competition (“Concorso”) on the Politecnico di Bari Esse3 portal doesn’t permit to choose the date of the test. The date of the test must be selected exclusively on the CISIA portal. TOLC-I can only be taken in TOLC@CASA mode from your home. Registration on the ESSE3 Portal does not give the possibility to choose a different method to take the test.

Enrolment deadlines for that candidates who are not in a useful position in the ranking (Ripescati) according to art.10 of the "Bando di Concorso" (Competition notice): from 20.09.2023 (from 00:01 a.m.) to 26.09.2023 (until 12:00 a.m.) after compiling form online from 12.09.2023 to 15.09.2023 if there are available places.

- From 17.01.2023 to 17.02.2023 (until 2:00 p.m.) for the tests on 23.02.2023 and 24.02.2023;
- From 17.01.2023 to 24.03.2023 (until 2:00 p.m.) for the test on 30.03.2023 and 31.03.2023
- From 14.03.2023 to 21.04.2023 (until 2:00 p.m) for the test on 27.04.2023 and 28.04.2023
