If the book is available

• Michele Brucoli and Magna Grecia Libraries: request the volume directly at the front office.
• PoliLibrary and Marcus Vitruvius Pollio Libraries: use the self-checkout stations or contact the front office.

If the book is on loan or requires reservation

1. make the reservation from your Personal Area of  PoLibSearch
2. wait for the notification email that will inform you when the material is available
3. collect the requested material within 3 working days

Duration: the loan period varies according to your user profile (consult the regulations).

Delegation: it is possible to delegate another person to collect it with a signed written authorization and copies of the identity documents of both parties (authorizing person and delegate).

In accordance with the  “Regulations of the Structure for the Integration of Students with Disabilities at the Polytechnic University of Bari”,  the Polytechnic guarantees students with disabilities the loan of bibliographic material, with priority arrangements”

You have several options:  

• return the book to the front office of the library where you borrowed it
• use the self-return stations available in the PoliLibrary and Marcus Vitruvius Pollio libraries
• deposit the book in the book-drop located on the second floor of the "Palazzo delle Biblioteche", near the Michele Brucoli library. For books from the Magna Grecia library, use the book-drop located at the entrance of the same library
• send the book using the "Piego di Libri" service to the address of the library where you borrowed it.

The loan may be renewed only once, starting from 5 days before the due date and only if the book has not been reserved by others:

• log in to your personal area of  PoLibSearch
• go to the "My loans" section
• click the "Renew" button
