TRANSPORT AND MOBILITY

Transport and mobility

To encourage attendance and participation in university life, financial contributions are available to help cover transport costs.

The procedures for accessing the service are regulated by the individual local offices.

Thanks to ADISU PUGLIA Taranto Office, through specific agreements entered into with urban and extra-urban transport companies, an improvement in the public transport service has been achieved for the benefit of regularly enrolled university students.

Who it is for

For the urban service, all students regularly enrolled in and attending degree courses at the Politecnico di Bari campuses in Taranto may benefit from it.

For the extra-urban service, all commuter students deemed eligible but not awarded in the final scholarship ranking may benefit from it.

How much it costs

For the urban service, students may purchase a monthly pass for only € 12,00 (twelve/00) or an annual pass for €80,00;

For the extra-urban service, the ADISU Taranto office provides students who meet the requirements set out in the regulations with a contribution equal to 30% of the transport expenses incurred.

What to do

Students interested in urban transport, in order to use the service, must, only when purchasing their first pass, go to the AMAT offices in Via Matteoti in Taranto, bringing their university booklet and identity document, in order to obtain the issuance of a personal microchip card, valid for three years.

For subsequent passes, interested students may contact one of the AMAT retailers located in the area. This list can be consulted on the website www.amat.taranto.it.

Commuter students interested in extra-urban transport, in order to use the service, must be classified as eligible but not awarded in the final scholarship rankings.

When

Students interested in the urban transport service must go to the AMAT counters during public opening hours;

Students interested in the extra-urban transport service must apply for the scholarship competition within the deadlines established by art.13 of the call.
