ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

FIRST-CYCLE DEGREE COURSES

For admission to first-cycle degree courses, it is necessary to hold a five-year upper secondary school diploma or another qualification obtained abroad and recognized as suitable.

Admission is also permitted to those holding diplomas issued by four-year upper secondary education institutions where the supplementary year was not active.

SECOND-CYCLE DEGREE COURSES

For admission to second-cycle degree courses, reference must be made to the access requirements established by the respective courses.

For admission to master's programs and training and advanced training courses, it is necessary to hold the qualification required by each admission notice.

Public employee students may access degree courses for which the online test TOLC-I or other entrance tests are required, subject to the availability of places following the completion of those same tests, from which they will therefore be exempt.

The maximum number of public employees who may be admitted to the study courses referred to is determined in such a way as to ensure compliance with sustainability criteria in terms of the teaching staff assigned to those same courses.

COURSE ATTENDANCE AND EXAMINATIONS

Attendance at in-person lectures of the study courses is not compulsory. Teaching is delivered in person and may, at the same time, also be delivered remotely in synchronous mode (through videoconferencing platforms).

Assessments are carried out exclusively in person. Any prerequisites between examinations are indicated in the academic regulations of the respective study courses.

ENROLLMENT FEES

In order to encourage the widest possible participation in PA 110 and honors courses, public employee students who meet the following merit requirements are granted a contribution equal to 50% of the enrollment cost incurred, within the limits of a predefined maximum threshold for each type of study course, as indicated below:

a) bachelor's degrees, master's degrees, and single-cycle degrees: contribution up to a maximum of 1.000,00 (one thousand/00) euro;

b) advanced and higher training courses: contribution up to a maximum of 1.500,00 (one thousand five hundred/00) euro;

c) first- and second-level master's programs: contribution up to a maximum of 2.500,00 (two thousand five hundred/00) euro.

Students enrolled in PA 110 and honors degree courses benefit from the contribution if they obtain at least, on average, half of the CFU required for each year of the course and in any case for a maximum number of years equal to the legal duration of the course plus two. The calculation includes only the CFU deriving from examinations taken at the University in which the employee is enrolled to attend a PA 110 and honors study course.

Excluded are the educational credits recognized for the academic year following the validation of qualifications already obtained.

Students enrolled in first- and second-level master's programs, advanced training courses, or PA 110 e lode high-level training courses receive the contribution upon successful completion of the educational activity.

The disbursement of the contribution in favor of public employee students is carried out by the University after verification of the subjective and merit requirements, also, where applicable, as compensation against the enrollment fees due from each student.

At the end of each academic year, the University requests reimbursement from the DFP for the contributions accrued to public employee students who meet the subjective and merit requirements.

The reporting of contributions disbursed by the University is carried out through the data entered and certified on ANS or, pending its full implementation for the needs connected with the implementation of the PA 110 e lode initiative, through the transmission of the declarations and documentation requested for this purpose by the DFP.

COURSE ABBREVIATION AND PART-TIME STATUS

It is possible to obtain a course abbreviation at the time of enrollment for those who already hold an Italian or foreign qualification, or have an interrupted academic career. It is also possible to agree, at the time of enrollment or during subsequent years of study, on a study plan with a number of credits reduced to 50% instead of the 60 credits/year normally required (so-called part-time status), in order to avoid becoming overdue.

Those who obtain authorization for part-time status are entitled to a reduction in enrollment fees, to the extent indicated in the table below:

  • from the first to the final year of the program: 50% of the enrollment fees due;
  • for years beyond the standard duration: 100% of the enrollment fees due.
