Overview
The Professional Bachelor's Degree Program and Environmental and Territorial Construction and Management of PoliBa – Polytechnic University of Bari is aimed at training the professional figure of the Construction Technician (Graduate Surveyor and Graduate Building Industrial Expert) through a strongly professionally oriented course of study that includes, during the three-year program, practical activities carried out at professional firms, institutions, and companies in the sector actively involved in the delivery of the course.

Educational Objectives
The objective of the course is to enable the student to develop a high level of professional expertise primarily in three different areas:
- construction, urban planning and environment in which the graduate will be able to put their knowledge to good use in fields such as design, project management and accounting, testing, and safety coordination.
- assessment and expert appraisal activities, which enables work in contexts such as the assessment of the market value of real estate and technical-regulatory assistance, essential in judicial and extrajudicial disputes and in public or private procurement contracts.
- geomatics and cadastral activities where the graduate will apply the skills acquired to the surveying of the territory and the built environment and to the setting out of infrastructure works such as, for example, road, hydraulic, and railway routes.
The Construction Technician is a professional equipped with university-level skills of immediate practical application who serves as "bridge" figure among the various professionals working in the construction sector.
Duration
The expected duration for completing this Course is 3 years.
Language
Classes, seminars, and laboratories are conducted in Italian language.
Admission
Admission is granted subject to passing the selection test on the TEAMS Platform, managed by POLIBA.

The Skills
The degree obtained allows enrollment in Board of Surveyors e Graduate Surveyors or to theOrder of Industrial Experts and of the Graduate Industrial Experts.
The course is carried out in close collaboration with the Provincial Board of Surveyors e Graduate Surveyors of Bari and Barletta-Andria-Trani and with theOrder of Industrial Experts and Graduate Industrial Experts of the provinces of the Puglia region, with the aim of creating a professional profile that can quickly enter the world of work, in accordance with European standards.
The importance of professionally oriented pathways within the framework of post-secondary education has been reaffirmed by the European Union, which has emphasized its intention to strengthen them further through the use of funds NEXT GENERATION.
