Promote and Support Innovative Higher Education in Industrial Engineering and Management in full synergy with HEIs, Companies and Public/Private Institutions.

Motto
The Motto is consistent with the strong reference of Higher Education to society challenges suggested in the Knowledge Strategy by the Europen Commission (2020):

‘Non Scholae sed Vitae Discimus’
 a latin motto, an adaptation of the motto attributed to the great Philosoper and Statesman Lucius Annaeus Seneca the Younger,  in his Epistulae morales ad Lucilium (Seneca, Epistulae morales ad Lucilium, XVII-XVIII, 106, 12). 
The European School pursues to innovate Higher Education in Industrial Engineering and Management in the view to help people facing with the big challenges of Society with vision, pragmatism, and responsibility.

Logo

In the symbol there are olive leaves, common plant in Apulia and the Mediterranean area, with digital-like connections which are hair of Goddess Athena.
Symbols refer to the green and digital transitions. 

Athena goddess of knowledge and wisdom
According to the myth, Goddess Athena decided to gift an olive tree to Athenians as symbol of peace and prosperity to contrast God Poseidon who decided to gift a Horse to Athenians to win any battle. Very different points of view of power and future. 
Of course, the School looks at Athena. 
A beat of her spear on the rock gave birth the first olive tree on the Acropolis: she wished a world as a pacific garden, a place where humankind foster progress by learning.
These are values that will inspire vision and actions of the School: 
the lighthouse in the logo will spread lights of knowledge and wisdom towards Europe and the Mediterranean sea.
