Enrollment Procedures – Bachelor's Degree Program in “Architecture Sciences for Heritage” – Class L-17 – “Architectural Sciences” for A.Y. 2025/2026

Enrollment, in all its phases, for those admitted based on the ranking list must be completed from October 7, 2025, until 2:00 PM on October 15, 2025.

ENROLLMENT ON ESSE3

Phase One: Preparation of the Documents to Upload on Esse3 Starting from October 7, 2025

• Passport-style photo in electronic format
  You will be required to upload it during the online enrollment procedure. This photo will identify the student.
  PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR PROPER PHOTO UPLOAD ( ISTRUZIONI PER IL CORRETTO CARICAMENTO DELLA FOTO).
• Scan of identification document
  You must upload it in .pdf format in the “Career Attachments” section of the Esse3 “Student Records” menu.
  The scan must include all parts of the document in a single file.
  Valid ID documents include: passport, identity card, driver’s license, gun license.
  Non-EU citizens must also upload a scan of their residence permit in the same section.
• Self-certification of high school diploma, using the official form downloadable from the link below.
  In accordance with Law 183/2011, certificates must not be submitted.
  Candidates with a diploma obtained in Italy must complete a substitute declaration of certification, using only the SELF-CERTIFICATION FORM (MODULO AUTOCERTIFICAZIONE).
  Photos of documents are not accepted.
  Politecnico di Bari will verify the accuracy of the self-declared data.
  Candidates with a diploma obtained abroad must instead provide the Declaration of Value.

Phase Two: Enrollment on Esse3

(Starting from October 7, 2025, and by 2:00 PM on October 15, 2025)

Please note!: The Esse3 procedure will open on October 7, 2025. No operation on Esse3 should be carried out before this date.

Phase Three: Completion of Enrollment

(Starting from October 7, 2025, and by 2:00 PM on October 15, 2025)

• Payment of the enrollment fee, generated by the Esse3 system at the end of the application form (section: Payments)

Please Note! – The fee, the same for all candidates and not based on income or final high school grade, includes only:

• Regional tax for the right to university education: €120
• Virtual stamp duty: €16

The total tuition fee will be calculated based on the ISEE certificate for university financial aid (see below: Income Certification for Fee Calculation).

Clarifications on the PAGOPA Payment System

Payments made via PagoPA are transmitted automatically and may take a few hours to be processed.

Please note!: The payment date must strictly fall between October 7 and October 15, 2025.
Payments registered in Esse3 with a payment date after October 15, 2025 will not be considered valid for enrollment.
We recommend taking into account the processing times of payments made through home banking or other bank services.

If paying by credit card, the mere acceptance of the request by the Payment Node and the resulting automatic response from Esse3 do not constitute confirmation of a successful payment.
It is necessary to verify that the credit card provider has authorized the transaction and that the funds have been transferred.

Income Certification for Fee Calculation

To determine the tuition fee, students must obtain the ISEE certificate for university financial aid as soon as possible, issued between 01/01/2025 and 31/12/2025.

This certificate will be automatically acquired from the INPS system and will appear in the “Self-certification” section of each student’s Esse3 portal, starting from October 2025, provided that the student is regularly enrolled.

The student does not need to upload anything to Esse3—it is sufficient to obtain the certificate within the required time frame.
